Obesity, diabetes, and heart disease—these health challenges have reached epidemic proportions in our country. Add cancer, stroke, lung disease, addictions, and arthritis, and we’ve accounted for half of the U.S. population suffering from largely preventable diseases. The nation’s current disease-focused approach to medical care is just not enough to address these issues.

That’s why health educators play such a vital role in healthcare today. Working from a holistic and prevention-oriented model, these health professionals evaluate the needs of individuals or communities, organizations, businesses, and institutions to create interventions and educational programming to tackle our nation’s health challenges head on. Tai Sophia’s long-standing focus on integrative health makes us perfectly suited to create the health educators of the future.
