Independent Studies

12.00 Semester Credits (total) 3.00 per course 

There are a total of four Independent Studies in the third year of the program.  Two are to be related specifically to your Project of Excellence and two can be designed to incorporate other interests and studies that you wish to pursue.  Learners answer two basic questions so that the Project of Excellence will produce extraordinary results: Who will be served by this work? What learning needs to be done during the Independent Studies?  Then, with these questions addressed, students work with an advisor who guides them in developing their own course of study, partnering with them to design their Independent Studies to ultimately lead them towards their Project of Excellence.
