This introductory week offering allows you to sample a selection of movement classes that will support and enhance wellness in body, mind, and spirit. You will have the opportunity to meet the instructors, see a movement demonstration, and register for the upcoming sessions.

Meditation is a process of quieting the mind, creating inner peace, and training oneself to be in present moment awareness.

Complementary wellness studies show that meditation can greatly assist us in achieving balance and maintaining health within our busy lives. This 10-week series will guide and instruct participants in both the experience and the historical roots of meditation practices from a variety of ancient wisdom traditions.

Participants will progress through a series of gentle movement sequences designed to change habitual movement patterns and heal old injuries. Frequently used by athletes, the Feldenkrais method allows you to perform all physical activities with more grace and vigor and increased flexibility and coordination.

Chakra Energy Balancing is an ancient form of hands-on healing that uses a gentle, non-invasive touch to balance the subtle energy field. The opening of the chakras and balancing of the energy flow gives the body access to all available resources for wellness. Medical Qi Gong specifically focuses on improving physical health and wellness by eliminating blockages, rigidity, and disease through gentle physical movements and synchronized breathing.

Three Jewels Qi-Gong series will focus on opening, balance and cultivating Qi. Start with a set of movements that open every joint in your body, releasing stuck energy – Qi. Then learn the “Microcosmic Circulation Meditation,” which brings you more balance and harmony. Lastly, learn an energy cultivations form, “Taiji Ruler.”
