Director of Graduate Admissions
Tai Sophia Institute seeks an experienced professional to provide leadership and direction for our graduate program recruitment and admissions efforts to ensure new student enrollment goals are met for its three graduate level degrees and post-baccalaureate certificate program. This position reports to the Vice President for External Affairs and oversees a staff of three people.
The Director of Admissions will oversee personnel and day-to-day operations in admissions, including recruitment activities, research, policy, and planning, print and electronic communications, hiring and training of staff, budget management, and special marketing projects. The Director will represent our school at events and meetings on and off campus, and will stay abreast of trends in higher education and the recruitment marketplace. Project Manager/Network Administrator
The primary purpose of this new position is to plan, direct, and coordinate the development, implementation, and on-going functionality of Tai Sophia’s information technology, its centralized network system, and Institute-wide user and collateral technology processes, including interfacing and support service to its satellite locations in Baltimore and Silver Spring.
The incumbent will provide overall project oversight of a new campus wide data management system in collaboration with various departmental “super users”, in addition to the supervision and support of help desk staff.
This position is an ideal opportunity to build a dynamic IT team in support of Tai Sophia Institute.

Vice President for Advancement
The Tai Sophia Institute seeks a Vice President for Advancement to lead the effort to uncover, develop, and realize the organization’s full potential in development and fund raising over the next decade. This new position, in concert with Fund raising Counsel, will develop and execute a comprehensive fund raising plan to generate contributed income from a broad base of supporters, including corporations and businesses, foundations, individuals, and government entities. The Institute’s recently completed Feasibility Study recommends a three-year build up of the Development Office and Annual Fund while securing the lead gifts for a major five-year campaign to follow.

- Check points, as required, on all patients prior to treatment and provide students with point location and needling feedback appropriate to their phase of learning.
- Spot check patient records for student practitioner and supervisor signatures on treatment sheets and supervisor signatures on the chart checklist.
- Assist and monitor students in their use of the Patient Tracking Form.
- Provide appropriate feedback and evaluation to students in the areas outlined by the Learning Outcomes in Coming Full Circle.
- Observe student's needling technique at the request of the #1 Supervisor until the student has been signed off to needle without supervision. Provide feedback to the student about his/her needling.
- Observe and evaluate the student's explanation of the consent form and HIPAA forms to the patient, and sign as witness that the form was explained, questions fully answered, and the form freely signed.
- Review patient records for completeness prior to the first needle treatment and sign the checklist on the chart when requested by the supervisor.
- Help the students learn to use the schedule book with ease and harmony.
- Periodically spot check the schedule book for accuracy and legibility.
