- The Chinese medical approaches in the treatment of women with breast/ovarian/cervical cancer
- How to work in an integrative, clinical setting with Western medical and other allied healthcare providers
Program Outcomes
The graduates of Tai Sophia Institute’s Post-Master’s Graduate Certificate for Chinese Medicine in Women’s Health & Wellness will achieve the following outcomes:
- Demonstrate the ability to clinically apply Chinese Medicine theory (including acupuncture and simple Chinese Herbal patent strategies) to women’s health
- Apply wellness and preventative models to women’s health
- Understand and apply the distinct physiological and emotional dimensions of women to clinical practice
- Treat women through all life stages/cycles including sexuality, fertility, pregnancy and menopause
- Understand and support the emotional and spiritual nuances/issues that can be associated with the different phases of a woman’s life
- Treat women in an integrative fashion with Western medical and other allied healthcare providers
- Utilize current research pertaining to women’s health in a clinical setting
